Professor Jason Baehr, Philosophy, Loyola Marymount University

Jason Baehr is a leading authority on intellectual virtues as a platform for renewing humanities in higher education. His recent works include Inquiry and Agency: A Theory of Intellectual Virtues and Vices (Oxford, 2025); Deep in Thought: A Practical Guide to Teaching for Intellectual Virtues (Harvard, 2021); and The Inquiring Mind: On Intellectual Virtues and Virtue Epistemology (Oxford, 2011).
