What does it mean to think well?

Augustine of Hippo, the most important Christian author of antiquity, once said: “How can the mind love what it does not know?” The Logos Society welcomes USC students to explore the rich intellectual heritage of Catholic philosophy and theology. Faith seeks understanding, and reasoning well about Christian teaching is not only an academic task, but a way to commune with the Logos, or Word of God, himself. Knowledge of God and love of God spur each other on in the life of faith.
